GeCCo activities in countries whose governments have expressed willingness to transition to eCooking are facilitated by Country Action Groups.
Phase 1: Readiness Assessment. The readiness assessment details existing ambitions, policies, activities, primary and secondary data analysis and potential gaps and/or barriers to scale.
Phase 2: Coalition members will develop a country activation plan in consultation with the country government comprising practical solutions that can help shift entire national energy systems to electric cooking by knocking down barriers to scale. During this phase, barriers identified during the readiness assessment will be further explored (through additional studies, analysis and/ or the development of a National eCooking Strategy) to remove or mitigate them.
Phase 3: Fundraising and implementation – the country activation plan will be widely publicized to attract funding from multiple sources. It will not be necessary to fund the whole plan at once.
